Assignment #3: Post Cold War: RAFTS

You are Hilary Clinton.  In a Senate hearing, briefly explain your position on universal healthcare to those in the opposition.

I believe that everyone in the United States deserves healthcare no matter what financial situation or any situation they are in.  A universal healthcare being provided to every US citizen makes lot of sense.  Decrimination against religion, race, or anything else is unnecessary by all means, and every person should be getting an equal amount of healthcare as everyone else, as long as they are US citizens.

You are the cofounder of Google.  In a video interview with leading dotcom CEO's, explain how the internet will change the world.

The internet already has changed the world greatly.  It is a huge way to communicate with one another, even if your on the other side of the world.  People in every country knows what is going on with one another minutes after it has happened through the internet.  In the future, the internet will be even more advanced than it already is, impacting the entire world greatly.

1. You are Hillary Clinton. In a Senate hearing, briefly explain your position on universal health care to those in the opposition.

I believe that every single citizen in the United States deserves Healthcare. It shouldnt be right to have people go without there right amount of healthcare no matter what it shouldnt be based on there religion, or race. They shouldn't be turned down Healthcare due to there finical status either. Everyone has the right to have healthcare as long as your an American citizen. Also it will benefit a lot of families that are in need of healthcare so they can go to the doctors, dentists and etc. and get the right care they need to be provided to them.

2.You are a cofounder of Google. In a video interview with leading dotcom CEOs, explain how the Internet will change the world.

As the cofounder of Google, I believe that the internet will have a huge impact on the world today. From communicating all the way to breaking news. Now these days more and more people use the internet to communicate wither its Myspace, Facebook, Aim, or e-mail. Also they way to find information on the computer as expanded greatly from google, yahoo, and ask.com or youtube. Another way that the internet will change the world is cell phones as more and more new cell phones come out , more and more oh them have the hole internet access just like a regular computer or laptop. As this progresses so wont the internet. People can get live news, TV shows and movies on the internet and now on there phones if they have the internet access.

1.)
Universal health care for Americans will make the U.S. a better place. This plan will help many keep thier families healthy and stress free. It will provide plans for the disabled, the poor, the disabled, and veterans because health care costs are going up leaving people without health insurance since the nation must spend so much money on health care.

2.)
As the cofounder of the Google search engine i will explain how the internet will change the world in many ways. First of all, people will be able to communicate with others all over the world. Also, so much information

about almost anything will be distributed through the web. Therefore, ways of communicating info will be much faster, easier, and better.

Hillary Clinton

Hello, today i would like to tell you about the position on my position on universal health care. We need to insure that every citizen has health care. I would like to also increase childrens health insureance program. In doing this we could insure that every person recieves the right medical care that they deserve. Three steps to doing this is lowering costs, improving quality and making sure everyone is insured. In doing this we better our nation and make it healthier.

You are a cofounder of Google.  In a video interview with leading dotcom CEOs, explain how the Internet will change the world.

The internet is something that a few years ago , we could only imagine the possiblitilies. This wil inable every person with a computer to find any information in the world at the type of the fingers. It will delete the need of having libaries and books. This Internet can completely diggitalize every piece of data and facts ever known. IT could make talking with your family who lives states away as easy as clicking on there name. This idea will bring the nation together.

1)  I feel that it is imperative that our government finally establishes universal healthcare.  There are over 47 million uninsured Americans that suffer every year, and a large number of insured Americans that have a hard time receiving health care because insurance companies deny them what they need.  As a leader of this country, I feel that I have a moral obligation to establish such a program because it would give hope to millions of American men, women, and children.  People suffering from chronic diseases and illnesses that require constant care are currently burdened with outrageous medical bills or have no chance of survival because they have no healthcare.  It is unbelievable that billions of dollars are invested in cancer research yearly and millions of citizens of this country are unable to receive new treatments because they don't have healthcare.  Young children are often refused treatment because their parents don't have a job that offers healthcare.  Also, a universal healthcare program would exclude the problem of many Americans being refused healthcare because of financial reasons.

10)  U.S. Secretary of State Christopher Warren, along with negotiator Richard Holbrooke and co-chairmen Carl Bildt and Igor Ivanov, led the conference which initiated a peace treaty known as the Dayton Peace Accords.  This conference took place at Wright- Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio.  Tensions were high as the enemy nations of Herzegovia and Bosnia, Croatia, and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia finally reached a general agreement to respect each others boundaries.  The peace treaty also encompassed many other mutual agreements.  The Republic of Bosnia and Hezegovia somewhat reluctantly promised to adopt a new constitution which highlighted human rights, free movement of people and goods, a central bank and monetary system, law enforcement, and a central government.  United Nations leaders Warren, Bildt, Ivanov, and the negotiator of this successful agreement, Holbrooke, were relieved once the conference was over.  Hopefully this agreement will maintain peace and happiness of these nations' citizens.

2. The internet will change the world in more ways than one person could possibly imagine. Information will be at the hands of anyone who needs it as fast as they can click the mouse of their computer. Any and all information you can find in books and elsewhere will be able to be found all in one place. Students and teachers alike will be amazed at how easy it will be to find information for their papers or lesson plans. Communication will be changed by the internet as well. You will be able to send someone a message and they will practically instantly receive it. In short there is no end to the possibilities the internet will provide as the years will pass. The internet will connect the world to it's past and it's present. Its amazing to think about.

This next file is the powerpoint for # 3 i guess i'll have to email it to you.

I believe that all US citizens should be provided with universal health care. I believe it is unfair to people who can not afford it to not recieve any healthcare. Without universal healthcare a lot of people who can't afford health care would just skip doctors visits or have to pay for visits on their own. I believe to keep our country healthy universal healthcare must be provided.

 2. You are a cofounder of Google. In a video interview with leading dotcom CEO's, explain how the Internet will change the world.
The internet will and already has changed the world. The internet is a great way to find information and communicate with others. People are able to look up answers to pretty much every question they have about a variety of topics. I'm sure in the future the Internet will only become more advanced.

1.        You are Hillary Clinton.  In a Senate hearing, briefly explain your position on universal health care to those in the opposition.

I strongly believe that health care should definitely be an automatic necessity for all United States citizens. With a death rate of approximately 8.27/1,000 population, there are clearly many sick people in the nation. Although we may be one of the more, well, better off, countries in the world, there are still many actions that need to take place, and several problems waiting to be solved. One of these problems is most definitely health care in American families. Currently, in order to have a health insurance provider for you and/or your family, you must make within a certain range of money. Taking home a paycheck that doesn't fit into this range will result in no coverage when you need it most. There are so many sick people, many without universal health care, who really do need all the financial help they can get. Considering the fact that there are over 40 million American citizens without health care, these companies need to stop denying some of the people who may need it more than the ones who actually have it. In my own opinion, I believe that universal health care is much needed, and in doing this, we shall end up a better, and much healthier country.

2.        You are a cofounder of Google.  In a video interview with leading dotcom CEOs, explain how the Internet will change the world.

Being the cofounder of the Google internet search engine, I've come to realize that internet will now be one of the most useful, accurate inventions ever created. It is a great way of communication, no matter how near or far. Also, although there are books, newspapers, and television, I still believe that creating Google will be one of the most successful of creations. This will definitely lead to an easier, faster, and much cooler way to finding any of the information you may need. From shopping for clothes, to doing your history homework, Google can definitely find a way to help you find just about anything you will ever need to search for.

Hello my name is Hilary Clinton and i believe that everyone should have healthcare. i think everyone should be provided with healthcare even if they cannot afford it because health is one of the most important things in our lives. people with diseases such as heart peoblems, diabetes and cancer have alot of bills to pay and not every one can afford it and the health insurance . I think with the universal health care it will help out alot of people and more people will get the care that they need to survive and get what they need to live a healthy life
