same here..... i have no intentions of paying 8 bucks when i can wait 2 weeks......although im anxious to find out my grades now........what did everyone get for the 4th quarter??

Day 1 of the Second Week In July:
No AP score yet. Attempting to divert traffic to Lake St. and Leonard St. rather than Main so when the College Board helicopter lands, it'll have plenty of space. Will vacuum the lawn so they won't tack on their $15 shoeshine surcharge. Practicing the secret handshake, including the handing of $30 in unmarked bills and I've revised the deed to my first child to cover the event that I do not have a child by age 30 (they'll get my left kidney insteady). Just in case things turn sour, I've asked the neighbors to evacuate their homes for the remainder of the week and take their pets with them. I've learned how to walk down my driveway with a blindfold. That way, I won't embarrassingly stumble like other past AP students have, while I still follow the College Board rule that I may not see the hired muscle they use to distribute the scores.

Day 2 of the Second Week In July
No score today. After some difficulties, I was able to effectively vacuum the lawn. A black van drove by at approximately 5:20 AM, slowing down right in front of the house. I think they were making sure I didn't have any hidden recording devices, cameras, or land mines. I went back to sleep, and later found dog footprints all over the yard. Seemed to be a large breed, the sort that people don't keep around here. It was not any of the neighbors' labs or retrievers, looked too large. The $20 I had left in an envelope taped to the door is gone, replaced with a piece of paper bearing what appeared to be the logo of a private security contractor and, cryptically, "We need your money, so we've made it our business to make you need us." The cats are acting skittish. Koko isn't sitting in the windows anymore, and Gracie won't come out from under the bed. I'm beginning to worry what will happen if they get into the house.

Day 3 of the Second Week in July
Still no sign of a score. Growing more aloof by the hour. Taken to keeping shades down and limiting phone usage, in case they have a tap. The packet said that the score reporters may come "on any day during the second week of July, at any hour." Sleeping in my camo with a set of pens and a couple spare $20s by the bed. I have failed to find accounts from other students, suspecting a privacy clause in the contract they'll assuredly coerce me to sign. I did notice, however, one of the neighbors' dogs lying on the lawn this morning. Carefully, I went outside, readying my blindfold and money. The dog was perfectly fine, albeit drugged with what could ostensibly be described as some kind of sedative. A half-eaten steak was lying several feet away from it. I detected a faint smell of soy sauce in the air... sort of figures that those College Board goons would use soy sauce on a steak. Suspect the goons acted on the assumption that the dog was mine. Going to ask the neighbors once again to get their pets and themselves away. I can only hope they'll start listening to me before it's too late...

Day 4 of the Second Week in July
No score yet. Slept during the day yesterday so I could have a stakeout. Had the shades down on the front windows and kept my eyes on the street from around midnight to five. No vans. No suspicious cars. Nothing. I'm surprised. But then again, it's entirely possible that they've already finished scouting the place out. Looked at the packet again and found a footnote to the section I quoted earlier: "The score reporters may not arrive during the second week in July, in which case they may arrive at any point during the summer after that. In the meantime, we encourage you to buy a telephone score report for $8." Apart from the predictable coda at the end, I'm wondering where this will lead. How long will it be? It could even be August. Ah well. Guess I ought to remain vigilant. It's raining out, so I have my cash for the shoeshine surcharge ready. Looks like it might get a bit muddy out there.
P.S. The dog is fine, saw it digging holes in the lawn.

Day 5 of the Second Week in July
Still no exam score. Decided that it's not safe to keep the computer connected to the internet until the grade reporters have come and gone. Suspecting that they're tapping into traffic flow. No drugged dogs or anything today. Apart from a suspicious, slow-moving van, nothing particularly threatening. I think the intelligence-gathering phase may be over, at least the on-site phase. I know the College Board already has enough information on me to dig up plenty more. With my social security number and my mother's billing information from the SAT, they could easily figure out quite a bit. Parents' computer still online, which ought to give the goons plenty of chaff to sort through if they try to monitor me.
Day 6 of the Second Week in July
I'm writing this in my attic, one of the safest rooms in the house. I just saw two helicopters fly overhead. I thought it could be it, swept up the papers, the money, and the blindfold on my way up. I also got my camera. I think it's my duty to finally put these goons' practices to light. They shouldn't be making people live in fear. Hopefully, they will not notice as my friend takes the pictures from inside. He's not here now, but he's on his way. I don't think it's actually them, but just to be sure. Hopefully my friend's coming won't dissuade them. Here we go!
Day 7 of the Second Week in July
It wasn't them, or if it was, they saw Dave's car pull in and backed off. The night passed without incident. Dave's staying over, just in case. He was always good with a camera. It's pretty hot up here in the attic, but I'm sure we'll manage.
Day 1 of the Third Week in July
It's officially no longer the second week in July. (7/15). We're expecting them at any moment, forgoing sleep. Dave's not as used to this as I am. I'm worried that when they come, he won't be able to get a decent shot of them. He nods off when he's been sitting around for too long. We have books to amuse us up here, but we can't really get very far into them because we have to remain vigilant. A couple times, including one last night at two, I jumped up, grabbed the bag that I put everything in, and ran out the front door, all because someone on a motorcycle went by. I don't think my mind can stand up to this much longer.
Day 2 of the Third Week in July
I'm in shock. Something came. The goons didn't. My father went out and got the mail, and an innocuous-looking envelope came. He saw that it was addressed to me and handed it to me. I want to bring it to a crime lab where they can subject it to tests, but Dave, who appears slightly vexed, tells me that this is it. I'm about to open it now. Holding my breath... a paper fell out. I don't detect any strange smells or white powder. The paper isn't chemically abrasive. I pick it up... something about a change of address form. I don't see anything related to the score reporting thugs. On the other side, it looks like... yes, these are the scores. I got a five in history. How anticlimactic. Dave's angry that I made him stay up all night yesterday and today. He just drove off. I'm still watching the skies, but I think I might just be in the clear. I'm going back online for the first time to report all this, hopefully they won't be listening.

Well my plan has worked! I inserted 6 Delta Force Operatives into the College Board Secure Grade Storage Facility. They were able to extract my grade with much ease.... meanwhile i was creating a secure alibi while vacationing in another state....I am happy to report I received a 3 =D!!

I am very proud of all of you, regardless of the score you got. I am very happy though to have been able to share the year with such a great group of thinkers. Greg's summer activities worry me though. :) Pam, I counted 21 dots. I can't believe I did that. I must really want to know. Hope you're enjoying the well-earned rest!
